About Mother lode Law
Jean Klotz, Attorney At Law
Jean Klotz takes tremendous pride in serving her community of Placerville and El Dorado County for the last four decades as one of the select few Certified Elder Law Attorneys certified by the National Elder Law Foundation in the United States. A graduate of The University of The Pacific's McGeorge School of Law (Sacramento) where she was an editor on the Pacific Law Journal. Jean provides significant expertise in all areas of Elder Law and offers a lengthy local network of highly accomplished professionals creating comprehensive referral support for all her clients.
Jean loves the Mother Lode community and believes in professional integrity fostered through the genuine familiarity only an involved neighbor can provide. She raised four children and ten grandchildren, and happily calls the Placerville area home, immersing herself in local groups and organizations. Personally, Jean loves geology and mineralogy, and maintains her status as one of the few remaining California Mining Law practitioners and she is the legal advisor to the California Federation of Mineralogical Societies.
