Jean Klotz
Jean Klotz takes tremendous pride in serving her community of Placerville and El Dorado County for the last four decades as one of the select few Certified Elder Law Attorneys certified by the National Elder Law Foundation, in the United States. A graduate of The University of The Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law (Sacramento) where she was an editor on the Pacific Law Journal. Jean provides significant expertise in all areas of Elder Law and offers a lengthy local network of highly accomplished professionals creating comprehensive referral support for all her clients.

Jean loves the Motherlode community and believes in professional integrity fostered through the genuine familiarity only an involved neighbor can provide. Along with her husband Mort, and a family including four children and ten grandchildren, Jean calls the Placerville area home, immersing herself in local groups and organizations. Personally Jean loves geology and mineralogy, and maintains her status as one of the few remaining California Mining Law practitioners and she is the legal advisor to the California Federation of Mineralogical Societies.

Clara Yang
Clara Yang joined Jean S. Klotz’s legal practice after graduating from the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. Clara’s academic and professional accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Sacramento (Magna Cum Laude) and a Masters of Business Administration also from California State University, Sacramento, all attained while working full time as a senior business analyst for Hewlett Packard, Roseville.

Clara combines her tremendous energy, integrity, and professional pride with a continuous effort to provide the most personal and compassionate services to her clients. Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Japanese, Clara aims to serve a growing population in the Placerville area as one of the few Elder Law attorneys offering bilingual consulting in the greater Sacramento region. Personally Clara and her husband appreciate the opportunity to raise their two young sons in the wonderful Mother Lode community of Placerville.
